Pansori is Korea's great art of epic storytelling in song. A single performer, accompanied only by a drummer, voices every character of a tale through singing, narration and gesture — a tradition recognised by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

Ko Yeong-yeol brings this tradition to life with power and passion. Grounded in the timeless craft of pansori, he also brings it into dialogue with contemporary music. His bold integration of the piano challenges convention and opens new possibilities for the art form.

His performances move audiences through a wide range of emotions, from heart-wrenching sorrow to exhilarating triumph. With his electrifying stage presence, he has drawn international acclaim and is increasingly sought after by stages around the world.

Pete's Music represents Ko Yeong-yeol for international performances and works with presenters from first enquiry to the night of the show.
